Development of interferometic nonlinear scattering microscopy for molecular polarity measurement

This project aims at development of an interferometric imaging technology using even-order coherent nonlinear scattering for label-free visualization of molecular polarity in live cell or tissue. Interferometric detection of the coherent scattering light provides information of complex polarizability of molecule. I will develop element technology and analysis methodology, and eventually verify the applicability of the technique to analytical cellular imaging.
