New chemical mapping strategy for oxidative stress applicable to super-resolution and in vivo imaging

We aim to develop new molecuar probes and methodology for spatio- and chemical-selective visualization of production of reactive oxygen species and redox-relevant metal ions. The key issue is to detect the target molecules without effect of molecular diffusion and leakage of the probes. Our last goal is to map  distribution of ROS and redox-active metal ions with nano-scale resoution (super-resolution imaging) to macro-scale (ex vivo/in vivo imaging).
