Bimodal optical and PET imaging by protein-chemical coevoluation

Fluorescence-based optic imaging allow us to monitor the behavior of biosynthesized proteins with high spatiotemporal resolution, while positron emission tomography (PET) offers a powerful approach for non-invasive whole brain imaging in living animals. In this study, we aim to establish complementary bimodal imaging of a single gene reporter which potentially provide more comprehensive insight about the behavior of a biological molecule from microscopic to macroscopic point of view in mammalian brain.
