The aim of this study is to develop a chemical tag system that allows genetically targeted fluorescence imaging in living organisms using near-infrared fluorescence at wavelengths higher than 800 nm. As an empirical application, we will perform whole-body imaging of cancer metastasis in mice and demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed system.
